Let's change the colors of an image, with the Colorize option at the same time, we use an effect that will give us relief and also the brightness and contrast. As I always say ... here is the art .. the rest, our imagination ![]()
We started!
1, Open a transparent image 400 wide by 300 high. Using the Rectangle Tool Selection:

And will the values as follows:

We remain a selection like this:

Fill it with a color, and remove the selection
2 No Go to Effects / Distortion Effects / Ripples and put these values:

3 º Go to Selections / Select All:

Selections / Float:

4 ° We will now open the jpg image, we will use by clicking on the top of it, with the second mouse button on the menu that appears, click Copy:

The close or minimize and the image we have created a selection by clicking on the top, as before, on the menu, choose Paste, and there, Paste Into Selection:

Our image has to be so now:

Remember, when we always emphasize this step. Adjust / Sharpness / Sharpen. At least once
Remove Selection
5 ° Let Layers and duplicate once

Hide this copy and we stand on the first layer:

6 º Go to Effects / Texture / Terrain:

And we apply. The image left of a gray color and relief.
7 º Go to Adjust / Hue and Saturation / Colorize:

8 º Adjust / Brightness and Contrast

And these values:

9 º Go to the Layers palette and we stand on the copy we made before we activate and change the mode to Multiply:

We signed the work, merge all layers and save as gif.
