Globe with glass effect

Tutorial made with version 9 of Paint Shop Pro, you can do any other more current version ;)

Materials.

A tube that attached: sha_reflejo_golbo.

And we have to keep in the folder of the tubes, we have designed for them.

1 º Open an image 400 px wide by 300 high. With the rectangle tool, circle selected, we create a circular selection:

2 In the color palette, select one you like for the bottom of the balloon. I chose the white # ffffff. We add a new layer and go to Effects / Effects 3D/Recortar:

We apply the following values:

Do not deselect

3 ° added a new layer and apply a light shade:

Do not deselect yet ;)

4 ° added a new layer, select the tool tube: img 5 and seek the tube sha_reflejo_globo:

Let our image of the globe and applied:

With the Move tool: 8 img we will place it over the edge of the globe:

As seen in the catches, while not remove the selection

5 º To tiing not, we will merge the layers forming the globe. Hide the background and merge all visible layers:

On one of them, press the right mouse button and the menu displayed Merge / Merge visible:

rename it the Globe. In the Layers palette, we have left, the white background and Globo.

6 ° We will save our globe as well as this, in psp format. When we want to use it in an animation, or any other work, we will just add the tube, or image you want in a new layer in between the white background (perhaps in time we remove and all) and the layer globe.

To send the two jobs, apply a tube or image to your liking and save it as transparent gif format.
