SuperBladePro

Tutorial made with Paint Shop Pro 9.0.1, you can make any other version ;)

See tip on how to install filters, here
Super Blade Pro filter (SBP) is one of the most used in the PSP. Is a filter that I would not say, too easy, but not be afraid eh?

Download a demo of the filter here

This tutorial will use only the presets that come by default in the filter. In general, all those tutorials that use it often attach presets for use and we have to keep in the folder to use them later in the PSP.

Son archivos de ayuda del filtro, en mi caso no son útiles ya que vienen en ingles y no nos llevamos muy bien este idioma y yo The group # 1 Notes folders that are specific to this program. Group # 2 are help files of the filter, in my case are not useful as they come in English and do not get along very well this language and I ;) So I'll finish even deleting them.

Environments and Textures folder, will contain presets (Bring as many default) But here is where we should be keeping those attachments come in the tutorials for the filter to find them when worn on the PSP.

You can also occur if accompanied by an image with a. Bmp (bitmap image) Everything will keep in the same folder. Let us now see how we find the filter on the PSP

1 º Open a transparent image and write a text with the following settings:

For the filter operates properly, do not remove the selection, but also going to: Settings / Static:

2 No Go to Effects / Plugins / Flaming Pear / SuperBladePro

* Note: Plugin 1 or 2 Plugin will depend on the filters you have in the Filters folder. ;) The filters submenu will appear in a certain number of them:

Plugins only see if there are few who have in the folder. Plugins 1, where there is more, and so on (Plugins 3, 4 etc. .. Plugins) now displays a new dialog box:

In the press where we indicated by the arrow:

Note that the folder is opened and textures environemts

* Note: Actually opens the last we have used if more, as it can if any ;)

Selected by clicking on a preset (We can also write your name if you know and well find it) When selected, wherever the hand points, we can see a preview of the selected preset. If it's our liking, we just click on Open. It could happen, that we appear the following message:

It tells us that image. Bmp need as texture, click on Find File, open the folder again environemts and textures, but now only shows the files. Bmp.

seek in this case we ask, winter.bmp Then hit Open (accept, OK, etc. ..)

* Note: It may be that we do not have the. Bmp calling the filter, then there will be 'convincing' to use another. If this happens, once selected, will not recognize it and we will box again requesting this particular file, then press search instead of file, cancel. Maybe once is enough or we have to insist occasionally, to 'understand' you should use another. But then it comes up.

We see where the hand indicates that we can verify the name of the preset that apply.

In the top panel, we will see a preview of how is the text or image you have chosen to apply the filter. Press Ok and wait a few seconds for the program to work.

The result is this:

The filter has many more possibilities, we can press the dice, to change a preset to see preview results that we like more. We can save with a name results.

Creating a preset by varying the options dialog that shows. But ... we shall see later ;)

Now enough with playing with the presets and I have even filled with text, setting a pattern, a gradient, solid color, textured s .. etc, etc ...

We can apply it to Mark, text selections ... and a lot of options. It depends on our creativity ;)
