Basic tools
We know the Paint Shop Pro 7, we soon familiziaremos with new versions 8 and 9.
For although there are variations of the situations of tools and effects, from PSP7 and new versions, not so among these last.
The difference in language use version that we have not cause any problem because everything you find in one place and icons with which recognize the tools and effects are the same, so let's take a look at the tools most basic to be taking the pulse of this wonderful program.
When first started the Paint Shop Pro 8 When we opened our program, we found a series of paddles that come by default, this can change depending on how we work, play and remove icons of those tools that we use and remove more of those no.
In the View, find and open the Tools dialog, and the palettes with your options:

There is a peculiarity that if we do not know some of these new versions, we could create some difficulty finding some specific tools. We look at an arrow we will find next to them, pressing on it, it will display a dialog box and there find the tools that were missing
and new ones.

| Arrow: use it to scroll through images that extend to position ourselves in the part of it that interests us, for it will press the left mouse button, so that the arrow will make us a hand (we will find the Zoom In) | |
| Zoom and Magnifier: use it when the image we're using is too small or enlarge it interests us to work more comfortable. If you press the right mouse button enlarges the image to us, if we press the left, by contrast, the decrease. | |
| Warp: With this tool you can resize an image, stretch it, shrink it, stretch it and rotate it. (It has more options, and we will see at other times) | |
| Crop: the use of an image to remove all that we left out of the selected area | |
| Move: If the use of an active selection, holding down the right button, we can relocate the selection. | |
| Selection: select the one hand to her image, to work on it. (We will find the option in Freehand and Magic Wand.) | |
| Freehand or Bow: Used to select image areas with irregular contours. from the outline of a tree to the hand of a child or irregular edge of the leaf of a tree. | |
| | Magic Wand: lets you select parts of the image with the same hue |
| Dropper: with it we select the exact color we want, for that we are positioned on the pixel containing that color. If you press the left mouse button placed us, that color, foreground color palette, with the right mouse button will put you in the background | |
| Replace Color: Used to replace one color with another in a selection or a layer | |
| Brush: I use to paint in our image, we will play with the mouse buttons to use the colors of the palette, foreground left, right second. We can customize and use beautiful images with it | |
| Airbrush: simulates the paint applied with a sprayer | |
| Brush or cloned copy: With this tool we will make an exact replica of a portion of the image, in another part of the same image. | |
| Draft: When using this tool on a layer of fabric (or display), all pixels that are in the path of the tool becomes transparent. When used on a background (which does not support transparency), the Eraser tool acts as a brush, so that it passes, the pixels take the foreground color (if you use the left mouse button) or color background (if you use the right mouse button). | |
| Seals are used to paint pictures with various objects without having to draw them. So, you can add butterflies and insects from a country scene, fill an aquarium fish or frame an image with a border of holly. | |
| Paint Bucket: To fill a selection or layer with color and material of the background or foreground | |
| Text: to insert text into an image | |
| Predefined shapes: draw objects (rectangles, ellipses, stars, etc) Predifinidos, bone to the default, or even to be found in the network. | |
| Pencil or pen design: create custom shapes. | |
| Selects vector objects. |

And of course you will be able, just be eager and do not be discouraged at first seem to send it (the program) but then you begin to realize that you will gain little by little, that if you have to have you feel like you? A greeting and thank you for everything!
