Nodes Vector Objects

Purpose: any form that is created with the Pen tool: or predefined shapes:

Whether those who have saved as default groups that brings the program.
We must not forget, mark on the palette configuration option:

When we draw a vector object, appears surrounded by a rectangle, with which we can modify the way, as we recall from previous lessons ;)

We can enlarge, making smaller, rotate, twist and even if we keep pressing the arrow keys (right arrows on your keyboard) to move one pixel with each press, to the side arrow indicating the press. To select a vector object, use the icon:

Nodes

To view the nodes, click the icon: Pen and make sure if we are also using this tool to create lines or curves that the Show Nodes, is activated:

In Forms predefined defaults to. Otherwise everything is common to both.
(Lines and curves with the Pen tool or predefined shapes.) Each object contains a path consisting of edges and nodes:

Clicking on one of the nodes and keeping it pressed, we change of place ;)

We note that clicking on it, appears a kind of arrows. Are the control points of a node. Can have zero, one or two control points.

The length and direction of the control points determine the shape of the contour at the node. The straight line or curve that passes between two nodes is a line segment:

If you click on a node, with the second mouse button, a menu shortcut (We can also see the Main Menu Items) Here we see an option that says Node Type:

Asymmetric / Asymmetric, Symmetric / Symmetric, Vertex / Cusp, Standard / Smooth

(If one of the four as observed in the catch, is not available, you mean that's the kind of nodes that are already in the default way that just drew)

Asymmetric / asymmetric:

, pero no la dirección. Asymmetric Node Type: You can adjust the length of each control point, but not the direction.

Symmetric / symmetric:

Symmetric Node Type: The length and direction of the control points will be identical, symmetric.

Vertex / Cusp:

Vertex Node Type / Cusp: Each control point, you can adjust the direction and length, independently of the other.

Standard / Smooth

Node Type Standard / Smooth: You can use the uniform knots to create a smooth transition between the straight line segments and curved.

(This last, the truth, I hardly know, because for this purpose I use another option that I find most comfortable and easy ;) since its effect, for me is very similar to the Asymmetric : P

Do not apuréis if not being too clear, when we go putting into practice, you shall see that it is much easier than it looks ;)

Online Convert / Convert to Line:

The two segments become lines, Control Points, vanish.

Front line / Line Before:

Converts the curved segment before the node in a Line

After Line / Line After:

Converts the posterior segment in a line to Node

Before Curve / Curve Before and Curve After / Curve After, produces the same effect, if we have drawn a line

Add Nodes to a path: With the pen tool and the Ctrl key, click on the line or segment of the trip:

next to the cursor, we see that sign appears and then press + Add a new node is added.

To delete a node, click on the to select it and repeat the previous step, the node is removed.

On the Nodes, much to tell yet, but we have to go practice doing so, whether it would be pretty boring. This time I think of just now Ok to apply?

Hello Shaly, reviewing here .... notes : Mrgreen: To see if I still have nodes at once! : Cool:: Cool:: Lol:
