Palette of materials
Let's see how to apply a pattern
1, Foreground will press on in the palette of materials, (same as before for selecting a color)

if we want the pattern is in the foreground. Opens a dialog box to locate the desired pattern and set:

- Selected patterns. Clicking the arrow opens a drop-and are all
patterns we have in the folder we created in the beginning for them,
and which brings the same default Psp. - Here, we choose the degrees of angle and scale that sedemos.
Accepted and the paint:
applied on the image we want to fill:

It can be filled from fonts, backgrounds, choices, etc.. Another way to use a pattern is an image that we open in the workspace of the PSP:

And then apply the paint.
A pattern can be applied from many tools of PSP and go slowly discovering them, what we learn here is to select and then implement them. To exchange pattern, gradient or solid color, just click on the bubble, and choose Pattern:

Textures
Overview of the differences between frames and textures in the Materials palette can select a pattern or texture of the material. What is the difference? A frame is an opaque image and repeated colors and details. It is a style, like the solid color or gradient.
Thus, the plots do not use background colors or foreground. Suppose you select the plot Bricks and passes with the tool applies
Brush painting: each pass paints the story of bricks.
The texture gives the effect of using a canvas or textured paper. It uses the current style (as a solid color). Suppose the foreground color is yellow and wrinkled paper texture selected. When you apply one pass, this yellow paint with the texture of crumpled paper.
To select the current texture to the background material or foreground:
In the Materials palette, click the Texture button:

Material in the picture foreground or background material.
The last selected texture texture becomes active. To select a new texture in the Materials palette, do one of the following:
To select a foreground texture, click the close box material.
To select a background texture, click the Background Material box.

This opens the Properties dialog box material.
- Select the Texture check box (where signifies the hand)
Click the Type drop-down list and select a texture type. Select the options of the texture.
Angle: The angle (or direction) of the texture, from 0 to 359 degrees. You can also click and drag the control to change the angle.
Scale: scale from 10 to 250 percent, the actual size of the image.
The smaller the value, the greater number of times the image is repeated in texture.
The higher the value, the greater the likelihood that the image is cut, lose detail and get a blurred appearance.

As you modify the options, the active color box shows the resulting material (style and texture).

o Trama y especifique las opciones. To change the style of the material, click on the tabs Color, Gradient, or Pattern and specify options.

Click OK.
