Image gradient and font, Here

Let's make a tag, with measures 350 wide by 250 high and so if we want to use as a signature in the forum ;) If you want it bigger, just open a larger image (no more than 400/400 ... more rectangular in shape and adapt the images to these measures ;)

1 º Open an image, transparent 350/250 px and fill it with a color that we like, I use the # 8DBBD3

2 º Add a new layer, we will open and minimized the font butterflips.ttf.

See here how to use fonts without installing select the text tool and Materials Palette, we set the Foreground Null, in background, the gradient Electric blues. (This brings the default PSP)

Setting it up well:

If you still do not remember well as selecting a gradient, see here

Change the Font size, just click with the mouse cursor over it and see who is selected, then put the number 210 and begin to press keys to choose the butterfly you want. I use the w.

do not forget, activate Anti-alias Shap in order to avoid the edges on the fonts.

And we apply.

3 ° No deselect., Go to Effects / 3D/Biselado Interior:

And we put these values:

Remove the selection.

4 ° Effects / Effects 3D/Sombra, with these values:

Repeat the Drop Shadow effect, changing Vertical = -2 Horizontal = 2

With the Deform tool

We can enlarge a little more throttle if we like. I did a little ;)

* Note: To re-center, if we moved, one trick is to cut and paste as new layer:

In the Layers palette that we remove stay empty and in this case is the second and:

You are now right in the center of the canvas ;)

5 In the Layers palette, choose the mode of the layer and put it in Brun and lowered the opacity to 50%

Open the image 6 th psp or tube, Copy, and Paste as new layer in the image we are working. Duplicate this layer with the tube. We're placed in the layer containing the tube. We can hide the copy to work better. Change the mode to Screen:

Lower the opacity to 50%

7 º Go to Settings / Gaussian Blur:

And put 2 radio.

8 th We are located on the copy of the image, resize and make it go to 90%. Remember not to have the option marked all layers ;) Resize and stress after ;) With the Move tool, move it slightly to the right so that the image blur before, but look on the left side as well:

9 th New Layer and go to: Selections / Select All / Modify / Contract:

and put 16 px Selections / Invert. With the dropper, choose a dark color of the image, I use the # 102955. Do not deselect.

10 º Go to Effects / Plugins / ICNET Software / Unlimited 2.0

And we apply these effects:

11 º Effects / Effects 3D/Sombra with the same values as we did in the beginning to the butterfly, by changing the color black. Sign work to everyone's taste it? Save in jpg

Hello, first of all I congratulate you because this is the best tutorial I've gotten on the web, it is very easy to follow and very explicit. I'm following along with the PSP 7 in Spanish, but there are some things I can not do because I do not get the menus, for example with no plugins in the effects menu and not if the version or you have another name. Please could you clarify this doubt? THANKS in advance!

Hello Osmely, now can not remember what they were in the PSP version 7. I can tell you for example that in the PSP version 9, if the version is in English, plugins should be in the Plugins folder, and if in Castilian that same folder called Accessories.
Anyway if you have them and do not see is that they are not in the place you assigned Preferences.

Go to Tips & Tricks section and in Preferences, you'll see that I recommend creating a folder to hold all the plugins and programs that are rarely used and redirect from the PSP to that folder, so should get out menus and plug-ins or filters.

I hope you have been helpful if? and thanks, really glad you find it so easy and good ;)
